Dalai Lama once said, “ Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.”.The district of Muttrah, Corniche in Oman is an absolutely sublime example of this.

The beauty of this place lies in how well it is developed while maintaining its natural elegance. This district is a common tourist spot due to its arched oceanfront extending paved lanes, residential buildings and an extremely marvelous marketplace known as the Muttrah Souq, located at the waterfront of Muttrah, Corniche which is a 7-8 km Boulevard stretching from the fish market all the way to the oldest palace of his majesty, the Sultan.

During the mornings, you can see several people enjoying nature while making an attempt to be physically healthy by taking morning walks, etc. Muttrah also offers a beginners trek with some spectacular views.

While you are here, you can also visit the Muttrah Fish Market which was recently shortlisted for the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Agriculture, here you can watch the live-action of fish selling and also book boats for sailing to nearby private beaches.

At the end of the sidewalk is there stands Al Riyam park, which is an entertainment area for people of all ages. Apart from all these specialties, Muttrah Corniche also shows the heritage of Oman by preserving its forts.
